Arthurian Legend in Pop Culture
The Arthurian Legend was created many years ago. Now of days people have created more things about the Arthurian Legend besides books. There are many things like movies, music, soundtracks, baking supplies and T.V. series; there is even a Cexternal image king-arthur-Movie-poster.jpgarrousel in Disney World. Zac Efron has a song that mentions Lancelot and Guinevere, the name of the song is “It Takes Two” which happens to be in the movie that has recently came out called “Hairspray”. In England there is a school named after King Arthur called “King Arthur Community School”. There are many kid books about King Arthur today too. When they created the King Arthur movie in 2007 later that year they had came out with a King Arthur Soundtrack and a King Arthur videogame to go along with the movie. In Disney World they have a Carrousel with the Theme of King Arthur. In front of the Carrousel they have the “Sword of The Stone” like they have in the movie. There also is a popular T.V. series named “Fairly Odd Parents” there is an episode where Timmy, the main character tries to save his parents. He’s at a mid evil times festival, at the festival there was a sword in a stone (known as the “Sword of The Stone”). Timmy pulls the sword out of the stone and hands it to his friend who name is Arthur. Arthur stops a Dragon which was going to eat Timmy’s parents; now everyone of that festival calls him King Arthur. In Vermont there is a baking store called " King Arthur Baking Store". Not only does King Arthur have it's own Baking Store there even King Arthur recipes. King Arthur has it's own flour known as the "King Arthur Flour". Also when people need to make brownies they use the King Arthur brownie recipe.

It is intersting how a story from the 19th Century could be carried on till today and that many people learned about or know of the story. Also it is intresting how one story can be transformed into Video Games, Movies, T.V. Series and many other things but all have something to do with The Arthurian Legend.
